Yom Rishon, August 6th 2017
“Now there arose a new king over Egypt, who did
not know Joseph.
And he said to his people, “Behold, the people of Israel are too many and too mighty for us.
Come, let us deal shrewdly with them ...” Exodus 1,8
In other words:
Yoseph – in the form of Camp Ephraim, didn’t get permission by the new headmaster of the school to use the schoolyard for Sukkot 2017.
“YHVH gave, and YHVH has taken away; blessed be the name of YHVH.” Job 1,21
Thus we’re back to the public parks at this point, where in conjunction with the camp all camp-rules are suspended and now everyone has to take full responsibility for his/ her own tent.
Yet don’t be discouraged:
“He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?” Rom 8,32
Even a place for a Sukka in Jerusalem :-)
Our contact-person in Jerusalem will inqure from the city council if it is permissable for a family to camp with tents in a public park.
We’ll keep you posted.
We trust our heavenly Father to hear from you
and to see you in Jerusalem during Sukkot.
Shalom and Blessings from Israel
Even more excited to meet you for Sukkot
